The Savannah GAA is heading to Ireland in June 2022 for a cultural excursion including training clinics with club and county teams for both hurling and football. A visit to our 2020 title sponsor, Sullivan's Brewing, is also on the itinerary. The club will also attend an official GAA match in Croke Park, Dublin, and pay a visit to the Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience and Museum in Wexford, Savannah's sister city. Visit Savannah, Savannah's destination marketing organization and a division of the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, worked closely with partners in Wexford in 2019 to help develop the Savannah portion of the exhibit. The trip will be attended by Savannah GAA players and club members of all ages and backgrounds from across Savannah, Pooler, Chatham County and coastal Georgia.
